After taking a tour of Wishlist Centre - affordable accommodation opposite the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) for patients and families facing a health crisis - Neil and Max were profoundly moved by the services offered.
Wishlist Centre features 18 affordable self-contained accommodation suites for patients, carers, and families, as well as meeting and conference rooms, wellness and consult spaces, and health support services.
The Centre offers a haven for patients receiving ongoing treatment, transitioning to and from hospital, or requiring vital support, alongside their families.
Understanding how critical it is to have loved ones close during or after a medical crisis, Neil and Max felt inspired to leave a lasting legacy.
They sponsored Room 9, the last unsponsored room, with a generous $25,000 donation, ensuring it continues to provide comfort and care to those in need.
Earlier in 2024, Neil and Max also made a life-changing contribution to SCUH by funding an electric wheelchair ($20,000) for the Rehab Department.
Power wheelchairs restore more than mobility - they offer dignity, independence, and hope.
Patients can move freely around the hospital, attend therapy sessions, visit Wishlist’s therapy dogs, enjoy fresh air, or simply spend time with loved ones without relying on nursing staff.

Wishlist Centre embodies the heart of care, offering supported accommodation, healthcare, cancer support, youth mental health programs, complementary therapies, and more.
